Wellilo is committed to providing integrative, functional physical therapy and other wellness services that treat the whole person.

Our Founder

Ariele Foster, PT, DPT

Founder, Wellilo

Ariele is an integrative physical therapist, interdisciplinary yoga teacher since 2001, and founder of both Wellilo + Yoga Anatomy Academy.

As a physical therapist, she treats the whole person. Ariele is especially interested in treating yoga injuries, hip pain, hypermobility syndromes and chronic pain and other complex issues that have not been solved with other treatment.

Ariele has also taught yoga in the DC area and beyond for over 22 years, leading workshops and retreats regionally and globally, and developing a popular yoga YouTube channel. She became known for her skills in teaching evidence-based yoga anatomy and "self myofascial release" (self massage).

Ariele has graced the cover of Yoga Journal Australia, taught online courses for Yoga Journal, IDEA Fit, and Vessilify, and was an Athleta sponsored athlete before being sponsored by KiraGrace every year since 2013.

Vicky Bonasera

Yoga & Meditation Teacher

Vicky Bonasera is a graduate of Yoga Anatomy Academy anatomy mentorship (with Dr. Ariele Foster), a passionate student of yoga, and a private yoga teacher.

Vicky came to yoga via a running injury (IT band) and stayed after noticing its healing effects and falling in love with the practice.

Since completing her yoga teacher certification with VIDA Yoga Teacher Training, Vicky has taught styles as diverse as vinyasa, pre-natal, power, gentle, fascia release, and rocket-inspired. She is also certified by Beyond Om to lead meditation.

These days Vicky focuses on personalized yoga sessions for her one on one clients, using breath-based, all levels, challenging sequences.
